Re: Kids membership
buy a family membership you get a big pile of supporter crap, you can pay extra to get a birthday note from Rooey etc. It's worth supporting the club. My kids love just saying they are members. We buy our daughter a membership despite her not coming to more than one or two games a year these days.

Re: Kids membership
My daughter started coming to the footy with me when she was 3 and became a reserved-seat member when she was 4. She's now 14 and treasures her old membership trinkets. She is looking forward to becoming an adult member. The importance of "being" means a lot to her.

I am lucky to get to 5 games a year due to location and family commitments, but buy Social Club membership and the 2 little kids also get one.
That is the point of membership, continued support (financially) to the club, to maintain some consistent revenue for the club.
It is not about bang for buck, pre game entertainment or a scarf.
If you can afford it, buy one! Simple!

Plugs goes on about foxtel being only 10 bucks a week.
A Saints membership is only about 3 bucks a week.
Let's do a fundraiser so plugs can be a member!

Re: Kids membership
I do both. I've been working interstate and overseas for the past three years. Foxtel has been a godsend. I must say their coverage in HD is a bonus and I never miss a game because of IQ. The extra membership dollars support the club and I'm all for that. Works out to few bucks a week. Well worth it.saintspremiers wrote:Exactly.Con Gorozidis wrote:How do you not buy a membership these days? I dont mean you personally I just what mean would the process be.
