I reckon there is a lot of improvement in our list - which isnt saying much given we finished bottom, and a lot of players had years wrecked by injury last year.
My challenge to you is to name the 3 players who you think will improve substantially in 2015. The hardest part is limiting it to 3.
1.Blake Acres - hampered by injury in 2014 and didn't burst out of the blocks like Luke Dunstan and Jack Billings , but Ive seen enough of him to suggest that he will make just as big an impact as Luke Dunstan did last year if he stays fit.
2. Tom Hickey - I like what i say early in the year before he succumbed to injury. Agile , good tap work and whilst he doesn't take a lot of marks around the ground, he does take them in front of goal from time to time and convert. If he can get a couple of seasons injury free I suspect he may become one of the premier ruckman in the comp.
3. Nate Wright - i rate this kid and desperately unlucky to have broken bones in both of his first 2 seasons. If it weren't for the broken bones I think he already would have established himself as a permanent fixture in the team - much like Jack Newnes did. Third time lucky this year.

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."
1 Jack Newnes - he should go up towards 25 touches a game and start to be really damaging with the ball. 2 Shane Savage - he needs to cement a real spot in the side, has all the tools but not the consistency at this point. 3 Tom Hickey - big enough and old enough to be a player now. Really needs to find the footy around the ground.
I'd love to see guys like Ross, Bruce, Curren, Webster, Saunders, Murdoch, Lee improve but I have question marks over all of them for various reasons. Wright I think will be AFL quality but it might be only as a back pocket.
Blacres - will cement a spot on the wing and push Ray out by years end
Billings - will have a Wingard style second year
Newnes - will make transition to a grade mid.
Unlucky not to get a mention: Markworth, Eli, Saad, Membrey and Wright

Go those mighty Sainters!!
Armo - he started off as a genuine leader when Lenny was out early before injury cruelled his season. It's basically his midfield now and I'll think he'll rise to the challenge
Spencer White - there is just something about him that loves the big stage. Fitness and endurance is still a worry but if he can stay out there I think he could be really exciting this year
Ross - I get the feeling with Lenny out he'll feel he belongs in there now. Sure he aint the quickest but neither was Diesel Williams. He seems to have an extra bit of time on the ball and I want to see him really start to use it.
all going through their 2nd pre-season
all obviously have the talent to succeed
all have the opportunity to step-up from a great first season (barring injury)
