what surprises me recently is that Cats and Blues - one for all their premierships and other for their supposed' rich' history are not that massive with membership numbers
and Dogs again going backwards and I feel without looking back that Bombers numbers are not great..

Serious kudos to the Club for aiming and executing.

I couldn't give a rat's whatever about whether these are old or new members - the Club sent out a consistent message and backed it up. The videos on the website tell a really positive story and I am very proud that my family are part of the 25,000 other members.

If McCartin can show something this year - which is a big ask - the supporter base collective imagination will begin to believe again. Power forwards excite the masses like no other players. Gehrig, Lockett, Young ...
Maybe this was the motivation behind drafting him - short term pain for long term fame.

Good effort by the club.

Remember we are the wooden spooner, but unlike other times when we have been stone motherless last, there is a real optimism coming out of Seaford/Moorabbin/JO.

We know er are in for disappointing times next season, but the club has prepared us, and has sold hope.

Just get the feeling that the club is trying its upmost to get back on the front foot.

As confident as I have ever been for a team and club who will in all probability come last again next season.

We all need to hold our nerve and the club is doing its best to get us moving forward.
