We did pretty well all things considered.
You forgot Toumpas. Well on the way to being ruined.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Picks 3 - Steven Febey (1986), Darren Kowal (1991), Colin Sylvia (2003), Brayshaw (2014) (Bigger disaster)
Picks 4 - Cale Morton (2007), Jimmy Toumpas (2012)
Picks 5 - Jason Norrish (1991), Brock McLean (2003)
Picks 6 - Allen Jakovich (1990)
Picks 8 - Martin Pike (1992), Luke Molan (2001), Christian Salem (2013)

Reckon Toumpas will make it. Has loads of talent just needs time.
Was hoping we'd snag a trade for him for an average pick.

Shifter endorses the Bookends
Glad to hear Kevin 'shifter' endorse the 2 big guys the club drafted to be our bookends going fwd.
It reminded me of way back when Lockett & 'Spud' Frawley arrived from Ballarat.
The Ballarat Bookends (I think both represented Victoria) were fantastic for the Saints i thought so if we can repeat that fine drafting effort it will be sweet indeed. I don't think Paddy should feel under pressure to kick a 1000 goals. If he can play with as much heart as Roo (or close to it) we and he will have done very well.
I'm not in a rush to see these 2 (Paddy & Hugh) thrown into the fray too soon and anyway couldn't imagine AR entertaining such an idea.
I think Melb has been fortunate to get that compo pick now and under Roos will improve with their picks 2 & 3 as well as the Roos gm-plan.
'If' McKenzie can succeed in pressing himself into contention sooner rather than later it could well be a hugh bonus for this emerging team given that he has speed to go along with his other skills.
Looking fwd. to seeing more of Acers and Eli (injury - free) nxt year and some compatibility developing with the other young uns.
SAINTS!

The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.

I have an idea LTN16, how about you find the post where I have said to draft Jay kennedy-Harris instead of jack billings. If you can do this and post it on here for everybody to see then I will agree to delete my profile for good and also agree to be IP banned for good. Go on then smarty pants.......do it.LTN16 wrote:How many times do I have to say that citywest is a trolling melbourne supporter! How did Petracca work out for us?
Come on do it. Lay it all out for us too see...
Tompas is an outside piece of crap who should be delisted especially if you have anything to do with him. Gutless piece of filth
now would you like to go to the mods about you stalking me with infantile PM's after i asked you to stop sending me PM's.
Oh for anyone who is interested I used the same PM citywest sent me over and over to abuse him. Everything I said about him was true.
BTW you dont have permission to publish the PM's. That is a bannable offence.
All everyone needs to know is that you initialised sending PM's and I stopped you by abusing you, which you fully deserve you trolling fool.

Don't forget Sam Blease as well. Very quick, skilful and good endurance. Off to Geelong, where they have a habit of turning "rejects" into good players. I hope Rhys succeeds, but part of me doesn't want him to.
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!
