That night Milne kicked 11 against Brisbane in the final round of 2005 remains one of my favourite nights at the footy.

Voted Sam Fisher.....
Thought it was favourite, not necessarily best

It's not tough...
One is a good player for his time, the other arguably the best small forward of all time
No brainer

Reckon you are really harsh on Fisher. 2 B&F make him better than a good player and he has also been AA.

Milne - legendary character and possibly the greatest small forward of all time.
Endured more flack than likely any other player in history, but good enough to play through it.
All time Saints great!
Chips unlucky to meet an irrepressible force in round one.

if you made a team of the last 10 years... Sam Fisher would be worthy of consideration but he wouldn't make it. Milne would
I don't mean to diss the guy but like Lenny Vs Plugger, there's a clear winner here

Re: Our favourite Saint - Milne or Fisher - Vote now.
I'll never forget Milnies efforts in late 2010. He single handedly got us over the line in the close ones and that helped us cement a top 4 spot. His match winning goals and inspiritional goals were undoubtedly the difference in so many games.stinger wrote:i can relate to that....and someone...forget who....cleaned up that white headed brissie prick...i went with a commonwealth government prosecutor.....a brissie fan...he sat there glumly all night...Life Long Saint wrote:That night Milne kicked 11 against Brisbane in the final round of 2005 remains one of my favourite nights at the footy.
His efforts in h&a 2010 were enough for me to concede that he was a champ and he was very stiff not to have earned his first AA that year....Then Milne also showed that he was finally able to perform on the big stage and he was a match winner again in the finals. The AA selectors had stuffed up again (I suppose if history is going to repeat you could lock in Priddis as a certainty for AA next year)
