Pretty sure he is contracted only to the end of 2015 at the moment. Happy to be corrected by anyone with more info however I am sure he wasn't part of the multiple resignings and there was the usual "we are having discussions" type comments from the club

Think he will be a RFA not sure if he will be a UFA.

RFA. If he was offered 4 years and 600K from another club we would get pick 2 if we finish last which looks very likely. The question is do they match it or take pick 2. I would match it even though pick 2 is very inviting. If he offered less we must match it because he isn't worth losing for less than that.

There are a lot of factors.

As P66 said, there is a possibility of getting pick 2 or 3 which should not be dismissed quickly.

Then there's also Jack's point of view. Had a poor year by his standards and might believe that he will have more value in the middle of next season if he has got back to his best.

I can't see us losing in this one so not worried at all.

We would be elated if that pick 2 for Steven turned out to be as good as Steven after a few years development. Which cancels out the point of letting him go.

Would be a step backward in our development path IMO, and he is worth matching any offer.
