Re: McCartin
I still we will go with Petracca.
We have Spencer White, Rooey just signed for 2 more years, we have Mckernan training with us, Longer & Hickey can pinch hit up forward so I would be very surprised if we went with McCartin as we do need a real classy strong bodied midfielder who I think can be our next Lenny or Harvs, big calls on the kid I know but he does seem to have the goods.
I'm still nervous but I reckon we will go Petracca.

Re: McCartin
Well, that was one of the most underwhelming highlights package I've ever seen from a draft prospect. I also noticed that he was playing against a guy about 15 kg lighter. Hmmm......
I'm concerned

Re: McCartin
I take real offence at someone claiming McCartin can't perform his job because he's a diabetic. As someone's who lived with a life long medical condition, it hasn't stopped me doing one thing. What is has taught me is self-discipline, perspective and given me life experience.SMS wrote:No.
What testing? this is BS.
Petracca is an elite athlete. He marks, handballs better than any and has GOAL SENSE!
IF we choose Paddy, A DIEBETIC, whos highlights were just a lead up forward ILL GO BANANAS!
Reece McKenzie is every bit as good bar endurance.
We can get him at 22.
Seriously what the hell? We will be the laughing stock of the AFL.

Re: McCartin
lol.
I can't believe people are falling for this.
Get a grip. It's a tweet trolling for listeners for its radio show.
The reasoning in the tweet doesn't make much sense anyway and is a bit of a giveaway that it is bullsh!t.

Re: McCartin
Doesn't make any sense at all. The recruiting staff have known since trade period who they are taking otherwise they would have swapped no1 for the 2 draft picks and taken someone similar to McCartin and picked up another midfielder. It all points to Petracca otherwise they are more stupid than we think.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

IF they did/do in fact want McCartin (as opposed to someone similar) then they had to retain pick 1 to ensure they get him.

Re: McCartin
Surely to God someone on this forum must know who we are taking for sure.
Either someone connected with the club or the player or the delivery driver who delivered a package from the StKilda Football Club to a Warrandyte address that looked curiously like a footy jumper!

Re: McCartin
What are their draft player numbers?
I want to know who they've picked a millisecond before they say his actual name.

Re: McCartin
A lot on here may have counted their chickens a little early and are now venting anger because their love child maybe is not the clubs choice. Most experts cannot split them so there must be a lot to like about Paddy. Good key forwards don't come cheaply and are rarely traded.
