Yes, he is hard at it again as usual. Took a good SCG style mark. :D

I know it doesn't mean much but at least Rooey, Joey and BJ have won something playing for their country.

Nick's angry was better than the foot stomp by the Irish guy

shame the two bombers players played- although Fletcher can play this game well.

well done Joey- 25 touches-
and Nick 2 or 3 overs.

God I love this bloke. Spurned the overtures of other clubs and remains commited to the team which drafted him at the age of 18. Continues to represent our club in amazing fashion.

Just shows how much of a fine-line there is in controlling anger in the heat of the moment.
After Nick tried to tackle the Irishman into the goals (and gave away a free for high contact) he took one step towards the 'referee' with 'intent'.
In the first 0.1 sec he wanted to push him over (a front page incident) but after 0.2 sec he had regained composure.

Compare this to BJ taking 3 seconds to regain composure & Robert Muir taking 3 hours :)

If we don't have hope. All is lost.

It may be meaningless rubbish that I forgot about as soon as it was over but it is the closest thing we have to football at this time of year and certainly beats the mickey mouse One-Day and 20/20 cricket. Test cricket is another matter but it's good too see our guys win.

I went and really enjoyed the game but one thing I was very conscious of was that this was a fair dinkum Aussie side. Lots of very good players playing which is a lot different to what has happened with our side in previous years.

(& just as an aside there were three pretty reasonable #1 picks playing last night: Roo, Hodge & bj. Recruiting staff did well 10+ years ago, next week, you'd hope that ours would do as well as the last couple of times we had that the first pick.)

I enjoyed seeing all of the superstar AFL players in the one team.

Dustin Fletcher was a great almost 40 and played a terrific game
