Have looked closely at this draft and I cannot believe the judgements going on. Better value in the 20s. Half the top 20 will be duds. Glad we dont have picks i the teens there seems to be really wrong valuations going on. Praying we can STEAL this draft.

21. Marchbank (unlikely but hoping) - otherwise the best Tall KPP. (goddard, McKenzie etc)
22. Neal-Bullen - tough, athletic and SKILLED. Steal of the draft why he isnt top 10 is ridiculous.
41. Oscar McDonald - Great hands and Kick. Absolute steal at 41!! KPP.

Rookie: Caleb Daniel - SMALL yes but highly skilled and TOUGH. Dont get it again. Some say top 10 if he was taller. Um footy hits the ground need shorter players. HE IS A STEAL!


If we choose anything else and those players are there ILL be unhappy.

It all depends on who slides. I'd be thrilled if we managed to get one of Cockatoo/Duggan/Ahern with pick 21 and could take McKenzie with 22. Touk Miller at 41 would be fantastic as well.

This isn't my preference (too hard to make a preference when the picks beforehand are so unclear), but my prediction

Rookie: Absolutely no idea. Would like to give Ryan Lim a shot though. He looked fantastic in the champs last year before falling away this year. At his best he's a clean, athletic, poised running half back/wingman.

I don't understand how it's possible to predict who will be left at 21+22. Phantom drafts are barely in agreement about the top 10 let alone 10 to 20. Probably a couple of guys will "slide" (whatever that means) and we'll take them, just like last year.

I'm thinking Caleb Daniel will be hard to pass up but at 41 I expect a decent slider so he might have to be pick one in the RD. Anyway we don't need these players too lazy to put an S on the end of their name. Jack does enough heads in.

Joey is 4.5 inches taller than Caleb. Brent Harvey is literally the only modern-day comparison, maybe add Libba if you want to go back a bit further.

The kid might make it, I hope he does, but it would be almost unprecedented at his height. Massive risk.
