Re: Shaun McKernan for Stanley?
A big yes from me - if we can rookie him.
Especially after what I heard from Brenton Sanderson last week. Convinced McKernan is a late bloomer who will eventually put it all together and become a regular somewhere.
Of course, he probably should have done better at Adelaide, but we need to take some low-risk, high-reward propositions. He fits into that category.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

So you want maybe 3 of our rookie picks to be ordinary AFL proven players. Saad, Mckernan and Schneider who would now be classed as ordinary. Surely the rookie spot should be mainly for untried players so we hopefully fluke a Milne type. Im still pissed off we didn't have the guts to delist one or two of rookie upgrades because again I see a couple of them as ordinary AFL players who will help Sandy more than us.

AFL site suggests it's a possibility:matrix wrote:I'm hearing rumblings we are getting him.
Late bloomer or not
he ccouldn't hit a barn door with a handful of marbles.
Terrible kicking.

He's training with us until the draft. That said, he's "yet to speak directly with Saints coach Alan Richardson".

Petrenko training too. Hopefully we can coax mitch robinson down as well, and kane lucas.
