I wonder what the club does when former players pass during the off season. Do we wear x amount of black arm bands come round 1?

All saints eventually end up in heaven .
Melbourne players go somewhere else.
Collingwood players end up as bird poo.
Essendon players end up as medical specimens.

Was a wonderful player, fair in colouring and fair in the way he played the game. Very skilful...... a fantastic drop kick when kicking in.
Actually when Verdun Howell came to the Saints I thought he was very similar to Bruce Phillips both in looks and the way he played. Infact Verdun took the same path as Bruce, started as a forward then became a champion full-back.
