Petracca is considered the best of this years draft by most scribes. Most consider him the most outstanding midflelder, he is considered a gun.

We need a gun midfielder.

Pick 4 & pick 7 should get us a couple of decent kids, but not considered as good as Petracca.

Richardson is only part of the selection panel.

I'm happy we kept the #1 pick, and I sure hope we draft Petracca.

Do you honestly expect us to believe that after the club sacked Watters for basically trying to control the football department that Pelchen, Bains and co have allowed Richardson to do the same.

Whats more, I have heard Cameron from GWS knows the Wright family,hates them, and forced SoS to offer four and seven for one.

When it was rejected apparently he went over to Bigfooty, read Paige's phantom draft and was assured by Paul Ahern because the Scully's know him and reckon he is a good bloke.

Still really pissed off that he will have to take Wright and there is huge tension @GWS because of it.

Especially when that standout is a big grunty, goal kicking midfielder.


And especially since we've just seen GWS swap their no. 1 pick who only averaged about 8 touches a game, for a 28yo AA Club Captain and a top 10 pick!

I am satisfied we made a good decision but I dont think its absolutely utterly clear cut. There is a fair bit of uncertainty in this years draft meaning taking pick 1 seemed prudent. Time will tell.
