Throws a few things in the mix now ..?
I doubt it as that would bea waster of No1.
However with the Boyd Dogs deal now progressing GWS may sweeten the pot to get Petracca.
So we may then use one of those picks on Wright/McCartin.

Thanks for the heads up SemperFi. I'd pick Lee over Stanley in the schoolyard any day.
Welcome Armagizmo!
I too think Lee can play footy if he can get those shoulders right - I'm not sure we can still call him 'young' though.
Quick word of warning - dont mention the word 'gym' or 'weights' on here without expecting to cop abuse from the resident know-it-all plugger66 who is adamant weights and the gym are a complete waste of time for footy players

Why do you lie all the time Con? Do you have issues? Sorry I know that answer.
Why aren't more people talking about Tom Lee? I think he's been really solid for such a young bloke. After a few years in the gym he could become great.
Because he is not much good

And he's not that young, 24 in 2 months
Bit small for a power forward and I am not sure he has that mongrel which is required of a key forward.
No point in having forwards if you can't get the ball to them.

Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

I'm leaning towards Petracca and a stronger midfield base. If he successfully fills a midfield position then there is less work to do there building something formidable.
I'm optomistic reg: Spencer White and would prefer to wait on another big fwd than waiting for midfield class.
G O S A I N T S !
The boy can play and we can build a defence around him that will have respect.
Grand Final 2014
Sydney had Buddy, Tippett and Goodes in their forward line but could not get the ball to them.
We must get Petracca.

Perhaps the plan all along was to load up on mids and try to liberate Jeremy Cameron from the Giants next year. I for one would prefer mids this draft over 2metre Peter or Paddy Mac! Let's hope they follow the correct line of think and call out Christian Petracca as Selection number 1.
Surely it's Petracca.....otherwise they would have swapped picks with GWS. Pick 1 for pick 4,6 (or 7)
Get an extra pick and also select the best tall at 4.
Not trading pick 1 to me means they want Petracca......I hope so anyway.
