My follow up question would be was that at start of time , so 2 yr rookie ending 2015
Or 2 year from now

Did I?

I said they were rookies and put on the list before him. So there were no reason for that?

Spite maybe?

My question Bunk, is, if Mav "signes" a deal, are we whisked back to medieval England, and will he still meet "maidens" at "ye Olde Tavern" and eventually make one his "wyfe" ???.....  :D

That's 4 rookie upgrades now - not looking good for Schneider to remain !

Wasn't Weller permanently upgraded mid-season?

Don't know that.

And I am not sure on the signing of rookies either.

Didn't say if he was upgraded.

I remeber saying i don't rate him as much as those other guys on talent and potential and because he's what John West rejected...prefer to give our own young rookie's or 18 y.o's a shot unless players have obvious class and talent, Weller showed through the year he is no more than a GOP with minimal upside IMO...but i'd be happy for him to prove me wrong becuase that would be good for the list...but his resigning does not excite me in the slightest unfortunately.

I think there was uncertainty around his re-signing...he's been at the club 1 year, wasn't included in the futurefest...why?

Agreed to a contract - not signed....

And any contract does not guarantee an elevation, nor does it say for certain he will stay on the Rookie list.

I rate him, still only young, a hard but who has worked hard, not only on his fitness but the perception on his character. Very Baker like in my opinion, will be a huge asset in the coming years

Happy with that. The dude will be useful when we are a better side too.

It is a bit of something new that we are upgrading 4 rookie though.

There is nothing to suggest that is the case unless you have extra info.

Great news. A hard nut that earned his spot. Well deserved. Let's hope he continues to improve.

Someone else said it, 2 year deal neither confirms or denies elevation. He can have 3 years as a rookie, has had 1.

from listening / watching the Baines interview/ media today I'd say it's on the list for 2 years from now .
and negotiations were under way during the #futurefest but hadn't been concluded.

As far as I'm aware. You can only sign 1 year contracts while on the rookie list. A 2 year deal would imply that he's been upgraded.

The Rookie Draft is going to be interesting for us. 4 spaces to fill.
