Pick 1 & 21 for Melbournes picks 2 & 3??

Post: # 1507545Post Faulky63 »

This was one of the brief subjects that Pelchin mentioned last night when on Twitter, has anyone heard this previously and what would people think?

Why would the Dees be that stupid?

Pretracca+?? is less than Brashaw + McCartin

Would be sensational but Melbourne have said they want to use one of their pick on a young promising player so I don't see how it happens.

Pick 1, 21, and a player for Picks 2 and 3 maybe. They get Petracca, and ? And ?. We get Brayshaw and McCartin.

Depends on who our player was I suppose if this was if this was on the cards.

I reckon something like 1 and 10 for 2 and 3 might be possible. 1 and 21 wouldn't cut it IMO.

There was talk the Dogs were trying to move up to get McCartin, so Melbourne might trade with them first, and offer 2 and 6 for Pick 1???

No mention of a player in the deal.

No kidding? What I'm saying is that would probably be the only way it would work.

We should say Yes to that!

Petracca is not superhuman.
He's (apparently) the best, but McCartin/Wright and Brayshaw must surely add up to more.

I agree with Austinn.

certainly gives you pause to think

Petracca/Dunstan close to a Fyfe/Dangerfield combination - OMG that gets me excited

I really hope that happens!

Would guarantee we do not end up with McOneTrickCartin... and with flooding... it ain't much of a trick.

We must get Petracca unless someone makes us a ridiculous offer.

Ball and Hodge for Judd and Maguire?
Wells and Brennan for Goddard and BO Nixon?
Walker and Sylvia for Cooney and Alex Gilmour.
Roughead and Griffen for Deledio and Tom Murphy

Very interesting approach Kosi.

My attempt...

1/ With Goose's broken leg... line ball. Without Ball's O Pubis... I'd take 2&3.

2/ No deal. BJ better than all the other three combined. Easily!
(Brennan more talent maybe than all the other three combined, but wasted all of that talent.
Wells... mentally soft... and yep, that's an euphemism.)

3/ No deal. See 2/, but substitute the names Cooney for Goddard, Sylvia for Brennan, and 'plain overrated' for Walker.

4/ Easiest choice of all. Picks 2&3 please. Where do I sign?
(However, Petrucca will be no Deledio... which is reason why I want Petracca!
For Deledio... see Wells.)

Should have gone back one more year.

Happy to take Petracca - quality over quantity every time.

1 & 21 please! But not a fair example Kosi. Having 'pistols' Didak in any comparative duo immediately rules-out said duo.

Ball was pick 2 though. No idea what goose has to do with it.

Comparing examples of where a trade of picks 2 & 3 versus 1 & 21 would get you. Even though we now have 1 & 22.

I realise ball was pick 2, judd 3.

Maguire was pick 21. And yes, I had hodge and Judd the wrong way around.
