With the news this kid wants a trade to vic Saints must be firming for pick 1 for JO and pick 3...If like they say hawks are keen then we have other plans...I'm hoping yes but if they get JO and pick three for pick 1 not bad IMO.

He doesn't seem to have a resilient body is the only problem.

Why is everyone getting so excited about O'Rourke. He only played 8 games this year. Was he injured or not good enough.
Sounds like people getting excited on the basis of being a high draft pick in the past. Dangerous territory. Would want to do due diligence on what's happened since then.

It appearss that if aHawthorn say they are interested in a player, everyone is going to just stand there and let them have him. Crap. We should be in a better position than Hawthorn trade wise. Maybe the players would prefer to go the Hawthorn for premiership possibilities, but the clubs should be more inclined to deal with the Saints. We have pick one. Hawthorn has pick 18.

I'd prefer to come to us over the hawks tbh.
Lot of players from the hawks current dynasty won't be there in 2 or so years.
Just my opinion.

So we lose 3 spots for an unproven no body. If we do that im out of here. Wont happen.

The only problem?

The only thing that O'Rourke HAS done is get picked at number 2 in a heavily compromised draft.

He is not in GWS best 22, can't even find the ball in the NEAFL, and has ultimately done SFA in his two years on a senior list.

I am not adverse to trading for him on the back of his apparent potential, but the guy is worth no more than a second rounder at best.

Yet you agreed with Melbourne losing 7 spots for a similarly unproven nobody..

Tyson had played 13 games averaging around 15 touches.. Previous number 3 pick...

O'Rourke has played 8 games averaging about 12 touches.. Previous pick 2..

JOR cant run around the block without twanging is hammies.

A HUGE gamble and he should only be steak knives.

Well I have watched both play and don't need stats to see one has huge talent and the other hasn't done a thing yet. Yep so I totally agreed with the Demons. And its 16 and 11. And I said the Tyson trade was a good one before he played a game at the Dees. He had a pretty good year this year so at the moment it seems to be going very well.

Agree, just think it's convenient for P66 to call one player a nobody yet at the same time agree with trading for a similar nobody.. Im sure if somebody else had said the same thing, he'd be all over them for it..

As I said I have seen both play and IMO one is a nobody and the other had huge potential which he certainly showed this season. And if they said the same thing and I had seen them play I wouldn't use stts to disagree with them. I would go by how they look on the field. And anyway Tyson still had nearly 50% more stats a game anyway.

You are right because GWS will have pick 4 anyway.

Thank God for that. Why should we do that deal for an unproven footballer? Dom Tyson showed what he was capable off @ GWS..

If I worked for GWS I too would spread a rumour that the 'Hawks want JO'R' to see if someone gives up something good for him.
A lot of smoke and mirrors at this time of year. You need to be on your guard.

There's a couple we are interested in.
Lots of talk at this time, don't believe everything you hear.
In fact most of it is just rumour.
More interested in picks than players although there are a couple that might work.
Promise to let you know when I can.
