Whether they won today or not is irrelevant, the fact is they have been at the top of the ladder for a very long time and don't look to be going anywhere, in fact they would be odds on favourite to win the flag next year.

They have academy players coming out of their ears, will probably farm off a couple of un-needed players then snap up Frawley…

No wonder it's so hard to even make the top 4, there's actually only 3 spots available each year when you remove Sydney's guaranteed one.

Although clearly they were outmuscled all over the ground - it was the '2 blokes gonna kick a winning score' approach that I think was a danger for them.
