Milney On Fire

For those of you who might be interested. S Milne is absolutely tearing it up in the Bendigo Football League.
His team Strathfieldsaye which also includes S Baker won their way into the Grand Final to be played in two weeks time.
Milney kicked 6 to take his season tally to 95 goals. He is a real chance to crack the ton in the Grand Final. Let's hope he does and they win the flag.
He also played for the Bendigo representative side against Gippsland and kicked 9 goals in that game.

Not surprising. One of the best small forwards of all time, and one of our best goal kickers of all time. He is freakishly talented.

Milney and GF's haven't ended well in the past. Would be great for him to kick 5 and have a win. He has a big few months coming up.

Queen Elizabeth Oval, Bendigo.

Saturday 20 September 2.20pm.

Sandhurst beat Gisborne in the Prelim last Saturday.

I hope he gets the Premiership he deserves. Like others have said Milne was the best small forward of the modern era and among the best of all time. His skill, guile and reading of the game was always second to none. Good on the little champ
