I have to admit - im impressed with jake stringer. not bad for a 20yo 190cm key fwd who had a broken leg.
has a real future youd think.

Bontempelli also an absolute gun. 192cm midfielder.... mmmm...

Dogs are a year or ahead of us. We gave a sh!t load of injuries as well. I'm not overly impressed.

Since quarter time the game has been played in fits and starts, but even over all.

I don't think they're that much better than us.

Shut the door on your way out Con ;)

Seriously though, thanks for keeping the thread alive, that and the AFL match centre are all I have. Jimmy Gwilt is having some game, it seems! Dead Cat bounce, I think the yank money folks call it

27 point difference at quarter time, 23 point final margin, says it all...

My positives were Seb Ross, really looks like he's stepped up a gear and looks a natural footy player. Josh Bruce, you don't see how hard he works until you get to a game. Much better forward than back. He looked very dangerous and makes the backline accountable. Gilbert, most underrated player in the league.

was anyone watching the Fox version of the game coverage?

did they do any better than Ch 7 and show the saints leaving the field?

when will there be a supporter uprising on Ch 7 to show the game to it's fullest and stop shoving us into the news...............

It was exactly the same. I'm wondering why I pay for fox when I have to put up with crap channel 7 coverage and commentators like that..

I personally believe that the 3:20 games should be moved to 3:00 first bounce so at least they have quite a few minutes to analyse post-game. It's pretty disappointing that they always cut off straight to the news straight after the final siren, happens every week. let's hope that they move the time back in the next broadcast deal.
