Legends game??

There was mention on Saints website a week or so ago of a legends game before the game this Sunday. Does anyone know more about this, start time etc?

Stupid starting it then when no one is there.

It should be on at 2.50 for 20 minutes and then the players run on.

AFL requires the ground be free of extra personal a certain amount of time before a game

Yes you wouldn't want to entertain football fans before a game by showing football.
They tried that for a century before they finally listened to our feedback.

What we want is a loud mouthed commentator getting a bunch of yobbos in inappropriate footwear to have shots at goal from 20 metres and then build up the atmosphere by playing loud music so you can't talk to the person next to you. But does allow you to take in the repetitive gambling adds.

I love the loud music. It drowns out the pre-match conversation garbage that comes from my footy mates, who I have been sitting with for a lifetime now - right up to around 5 seconds before the bounce. Keep copying the US format AFL and see crowds drop even further

Legends by donating lots of money to the club so they can play.

That's my guess.

You never know, a SS member may be playing (not myself). Probably explains why it's on so early.
