Has had a good first hitout.
About 12-14 games?
Not bad.
have a fully preseason and he will be a beast next year.

Very disappointed for Luke. Next time we see him play will be in the famous number 7.
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

It's disappointing for him, but being close to the end of the season, he will have time to recuperate before pre-season starts.
Will be a lot better player next year.

Outstanding season and seems a real win by our recruiters, not something we've been used to in recent seasons.
Don't think he was much of a chance for the RS, will most certainly get a top 5 finish, but don't think he was ever more than an outside chance. Doesn't take away from his season or ability, but Bont has it in the bag IMO...
Great season in regards to rising stars.. Lots to like across the board.

It's already 2015 preseason afaic, send anyone off that needs to be, even Robbo if his ankle needs attending

Well it really depends. if they can still play and an operation will only effect them for 8 weeks or less then they should play until the end of the year otherwise Rooy wouldnt have played since about round 12.

Massive load for a first year player, it's probably a good thing he finished the year early.
We have a ripper though.

Do we lead the comp for players injured out for the season..seems to be unusually high. Anyway bad news for LD, but an opportunity for others.

What a pick-up he's been. If Acres turns out to be anywhere near as good then our 2013 draft will be one to remember.
Hats off Luke. Enjoy the break and see you next year.

It's a shame he can't play in Lenny's send off game!

At least one positive to come out of this year is the way Dunstan has coped with AFL football in his first season.Con Gorozidis wrote:Terrific first season.

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

Re: Dunstan out for season...Rising star chance probably gon
Might explain his game Saturday night, but glad they've got him in early, which is what all teams that are in our positions should be doing now, getting players ready for pre season.
Luke has had an outstanding first up season, and should be even better next year with a bit more strength and endurance.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

You know he could still win it. Bontempelli has only played 12 games this year so at most he'll only have 16 like Dunstan.
When you start from the bottom the only way to go is up.

He could but Taylor and Aish are probably ahead of both. Langdon is also up there.

I've barely seen Collingwood this year - what's Langdon been doing that's so good?plugger66 wrote:He could but Taylor and Aish are probably ahead of both. Playing well in the backline of a top 8 side. Dropped off a little lately but was good again last week.

It means we are officially tanking.
