We had seats at the President's lunch with some other player sponsors and members of the 300 club - Didzee, which table were you on? Always great to be in a room with people who bleed red white and black, sure there must be have some other SS contributors in there too.
Nice speech from Summers, a boxed jumper presentation to Michael Roberts (with both he and Neil speaking), and some general Lenny-love. Blake Acres was wandering through, he really is a Big Unit for one so young.
Managed to sneak my "I love Lenny t-shirt" into the jacket & tie dress code, and capped it off with the matching hat supplied at the lunch.
So, a great lunch, then able to give my seats to my parents at quarter time, rescue the kids (who'd been farmed out to various parts of the ground), and head back to my normal seats and those with the more "relaxed" dress code.
Thanks again to all concerned for the tickets.
