WTF? B1oody Hell.
Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.
You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

Re: Game Thread v GC Suns
Suns 56
Saints 30
Armo off with bad head clash (with Weller)
Gwilt one of the worst kick-outs you will see
Game Over.

Midfield again the problem. Need some better effort around the ball.
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
Re: Game Thread v GC Suns
Fisher should have got a high contact free - umps very poor. But I'm sure it's all about the expansion of the comp.

Re: Game Thread v GC Suns
37-30
Half time.
Best players: Len-dog
Worst players - Is Schneider on the field? Not sighted. Dunstan off his tucker.
Summary
Strangely slippery conditions. Poor skills and turnovers from both sides. Saints tackling well and + 10 on tackles so we dont mind a scrap . Quite a few brawls so a tough game with a bit of feeling. [/quote]
Poor kicking from Suns isn't hampering their goal kicking now.
Too many passengers. Schneider need to quit the funny Schneiderman stuff and focus on his football. Never thought I would say this be he is not earning a place in the side at the moment.
Several others still need to lift when under pressure and not just become involved when the ball is poked their way in space.

Re: Game Thread v GC Suns
Shocking effort from the midfield- no second effort, second to the ball, playing from behind. A really lazy effort from our more experienced players, not playing with much desire. Should be a few changes next week. AR needs to work on team discipline as I think that's something he hasn't got right all year. Last week was a bit of fun, but we are back to the headless chicken brand of footy.

Re: Game Thread v GC Suns
Time to retire Dempster. Well past it. Is to blame for at least 4 goals tonight.
Re: Game Thread v GC Suns
Sean Dempster keeping us in the race for the no #1 draft pick. Well done Seany passed it straight to a GC player then followed it up hand passing it to a a GC player - congrats son we may yet get Petracca.

Billings right foot pass to Bruce shows we have a future. Poise when senior players have paniked.

Re: Game Thread v GC Suns
Finding no space to work the ball, need to break some lines and hit targets. A lot of players basically unsighted in the game, can't really blame any specific person

IT IS a team game.
Won and lost in the mid field.
Idiot.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.
