Re: Adelaide Game
re hotels: the ground is virtually in the CBD, any of the north terrace hotels are only a 5 min walk, even staying in Glenelg at the end of the tram line leaves an easy trip there and back.

Wirgin have a 1905 that night that would be really tight with a 1730ish finish.saintbrat wrote:Shoot, any word on extra flights that night Tony?
The 2035 departure is a little Embraer 190 which they'd need to book 40 seats.
Other alternative is overnight in Adelaide on Sunday.

Just booked my flight home ay 8.35. No hope of making the 7.05. Would have to leave the minute the game finished and I want to go in the rooms whatever it takes. Paid $145 but only paid $54 to get there. Hotel will be $100 each then lose $500 at the casino so looks like a cheap 2 days.

Is that Elizabeth or Freddy back up and running? A perfect birthday present would be watching Lennys last game.

Neither. It's Adam Lambert as Freddie with the old codgers.plugger66 wrote:saintspremiers wrote:Enjoy plugs. Daughter wants to go to Science works by train. Maybe we should detour via the airport instead? !

Re: Adelaide Game
Curious that the crows have been scheduled to play on the Sunday, when other teams in contention for the 8 play earlier in the weekend. Does the AFL know something we don't about their chances?
its time to make a name for yourself like you've never made before!

Re: Adelaide Game
Just had a good look at the draws for bombers (13 wins), crows (13 wins), pies (13 wins) and I think the crows will have to lose one that they shouldn't to miss out on eighth place, because they have the pies covered on percentage.
Wouldn't it be sweet if the one they drop is against us?
What a great way to say goodbye to a legend and deny them a finals berth at the same time!

The win sounds good. The sides replacing them sounds bad. Adelaide should make it.

Win:win:win solution for you Pluggs.plugger66 wrote:... then lose $500 at the casino so looks like a cheap 2 days.
- Go home early (means less time drinking Adelaide water, or in your case, Adelaide beer ).
- Spend $50 on 'dinner' at the Bentleigh KFC.
- Then, over to Linton Street to lose the remaining $450 of your hard-earned into our poker machines... not the Adelaide Casino's.
You know it makes sense.

Couple of things. Wouldnt drink Adelaide beer if it was free because as you suggested it is made with Adelaide water. The basic VB for me. Secondly i have already booked and paid so if I dont go im $400 down already so whats another $500. No KFC in bentleigh. Its either Ormond or Clayton or Highett. $50 isnt enough anyway. Lastly wouldnt play the pokies with your money. Im sticking to how i speak on here and playing craps at the casino.

One of the stupidest posts in a long time. Coopers beer is beer. VB is draino pure and simple. Next you'll be telling me you also drink Jacob's Creek. If there's one thing we do well in SA is produce good booze.saintspremiers wrote:Playing craps is fun. And Yes our water is cr*p.
I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.
