Didn't ever think he'd amount to much despite his physical gifts and work ethic. And the fact he is a good, honest kid.

But he has turned the corner today. As good a half by a Saints tall forward that I've seen aside from Roo for 15 odd years.

Most importantly, he's turned the corner in his own mind. That can seemingly unlock a whole new level of player.

None of our forwards can shine without decent delivery, we've been good in all areas.

I reckon a massive part of it is the "Lenny Factor"...cellar dweller teams are never as bad as they play during a lean run, but when all confidence and motivation is shot, sometimes you need a circuit breaker...a milestone game, a historical rivalry or a favourite son deciding to hang up the boots...the ferocity on the ball and on the man is back to early season best...but it's a sapping style of play (probably why we fell off the cliff so badly after some big losses)...I'm just loving this, it's been a looooong winter so far, but come on boys, finish off these purple haze wankers!!!!
