Re: Round 18 team v Dockers
Hickey part of the inept eight. Thought he went OK and by all reports Longer was fairly unimpressive at sandy.

It was his first game for a long time, he may have pulled up a bit sore.
Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.
Re: Round 18 team v Dockers
Pretty lame dropping Shents IMO... Obvious it was going to happen, but wrong decision IMO...
Interesting re. Hickey. Thought he played quite well, so either I was missing his errors, or he's injured. In which case is a real worry as he seems to be very fragile.

gotta wonder bout Gwilt still getting games ... honestly would rather keep Shenton in and remove Gwilt ..

I reckon there is a more hope of Gwilt playing next year than Shenton.

Re: Round 18 team v Dockers
Dissapointed to see Hickey injured again, but if there was ever a season for him to be a bit injury prone it's this one...I see him as being a very good player for us, could be A Grade IMO...I agree with plugger on Gwilt more likely to be around next year over Shenton given Richo's constant reference to hanging to experienced players...IMO, he still plays tighter than Shenton and has the best disposal by foot coming out of the back half (fisher could argue that when he's up and going). I'm thinking the coaches want to have a look at roberton for a bit...I see these guys as very similar profile on our list and it could be one or the other at seasons end (I'm a Shenton fan for the record in this head to head). Good to see Saunders, Brodie and "the do" come back in...I'm really hoping they play well...any tips on the sub this week? Go saints!!

The big question is though, will we score more goals than Germany did in the World Cup final.

Re: Round 18 team v Dockers
Like this team, reckon it's our best, most balanced line up for about 10-12 weeks. In form, and with self confidence, I reckon we would be competative against the bottom 5 teams.

He was...
Always better playing his actual role, rather than one that is completely unfair.
Fisher in, was good for Gwilt
Saunders & Murdoch get there chance now.
I reckon Dunell & TDL have sealed their fate now IMHO
