Anyway I was asked to defend / explain my association with the club.

That is what I did and gave full disclosure.

I did not do it for any ego reasons at all.

As for "you guys" .., Cairnsman on this board has previously agreed with your assertion that I am a mere puppet of the club ... And was the reason for his question that i answered in this thread. Hence "you guys" = you and Cairnsman

What's the point of adding time and date notifications? Can't see any reason not to do it, but it is just another thing for mods to add to the procedure. If there's a good reason though.......

Fair enough. No issue with time and date for me. Don't agree with who, as in which one of the mods. Would leave that person open to abuse and personal vindictiveness.
All modifications - i.e edits / deletions / warnings / bannings are logged in the site log which is viewable by the mods. My opinion is that time and date of edit could be included. Don't know what others think.

I agree if this was at your place of employment but we and the mods dont sign up to anything and if you or them dont like the way things are run you just dont visit here anymore. Its a place of fun and if you arent having fun then maybe you or whoever it is goes somewhere else.

Not necessary....just more of the hoops these guys are enjoying making the mods jump through....they are on a power trip it would seem....

I agree with you Plugger. It's all getting a bit too serious. POQ, GO can you just chill out about it all? I keep coming back to, "what is the actual problem?" I'm yet to hear anything with any guts or substance in it. Lots of accusations and bitching, but when it comes to the pointy end of actually laying out the issues, it seems to me they're more about personality than having any genuine substance. Ongoing snide broadsides on a personal level. It's really boring.

BFUSA answers all the questions put to him, very patiently IMO, and 'you guys' just keep on coming from different angles. Seems to me you want to have a bone to pick.

the G1 was self moderating itself , and well.

ask HSV King how many pm's he had to send to mention we were getting
a bit out of hand !!!!

The G1 was never the effen issue around here

then this dude , who as far as i know never ever posted in the G1
turned up with a Poll , putting our extinction to a vote.

There's a truckload of deceipt that has been thrown at the G1,
undeservably over the years ... this last lot is more of the same.
