Brazil does a St Kilda
Loses 7-1 to Germany. They were 0 and 7 going into injury time. Sounds like the Saints of 2014.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Re: Brazil does a St Kilda
They drafted terribly between 2006 and 2010 and didn't focus enough on player development. They also upset their fans because of dodgy stadium deals.
Re: Brazil does a St Kilda
I would have thought germany did a Saints. 7 goals seems about our average in the last couple of months.

The only way Brazil was going to win the WC was if they drafted Ben Cousins and played Luke Ball more.

We wish! Five goals in twelve minutes. When's the last time we did that?plugger66 wrote:I would have thought germany did a Saints. 7 goals seems about our average in the last couple of months.
I started with nothing and I've got most of it left!

Germany scored 5 in 18 minutes. We scored 5 in 13 minutes on Sunday.White Winmar wrote:We wish! Five goals in twelve minutes. When's the last time we did that?plugger66 wrote:I would have thought germany did a Saints. 7 goals seems about our average in the last couple of months.
Nice to see them wearing red, white and black and winning.

It's the World game and there are a lot who are passionate about it. I wonder what they would think of our little backyard game?

Not having their best team on the park pbly did contribute to the outcomeBunk_Moreland wrote:The only way Brazil was going to win the WC was if they drafted Ben Cousins and played Luke Ball more.

And having a 'soft' route to the semis doesn't help. Ask the Denver Broncosskeptic wrote:Not having their best team on the park pbly did contribute to the outcomeBunk_Moreland wrote:The only way Brazil was going to win the WC was if they drafted Ben Cousins and played Luke Ball more.

I think if you have a semi it will always be a soft route.

Although with this not being the Animal Enclosure I better add that I don't know what that means, it just sounds funny

it means ,
even worrying about the semi , is soft
.. the Prelim is the one you gotta win.

And a nice pun there plug. Liked it! Brazil have had a soft route to semi but the Germans were certainly rigid in their reaming

Well the final is between Argentina and Germany, just wonder who all those ex Nazi's are going to support.
Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.
