Re: Steven - Injury blow
Who cares. We aren't playing footy bar a couple who try.
The injury report is a crock saying he could be back as early as round 20. I mean, WTF?
They say he's been carrying an injury and now needs 4 weeks recovery? Odd.
And Geary will be back in 6 weeks. Yay. For one round lol!

Why would we need to tank. We have no hope of winning another game this season.
if they tank we will only lose by 5 goals. Who do we play that will take and we can replace on the ladder anyway?
No but we have to play sides that are tanking for us to win or have you missed our last 10 games old rolling eyes. Seems you just dont get it.

Do you want them to give up completely. If you are back you are back whether its round 20 or 23. And I care because I dont like losing like last week.

Re: Steven - Injury blow
I can't remember a year when we have had so many serious injuries - 4 weeks +. There is no plus side, but it does give opportunities to a lot more players.
I hope that the rest helps settle his obvious foot/ankle problem - and how do we know that it is really a fairly serious thigh injury?

Re: Steven - Injury blow
I'm curious to know what sort of thigh injury you can carry for a few weeks, before it finally gets the better of you for a rest...A corky maybe that hasn't settled down? It could be some quads tendon related oversure injury, ITB related, or a bursitis around the knee...but they would have said knee I thought...any other ideas on the nature of the injury...Either way, it's tough luck for Jack but in a season of disapointments, it's not the end of the world, further games for youngsters to show something, or not...
