Im sure his is a legit injury but watch players go in for early surgery. Tank mode activated.

Why would we need to tank. We have no hope of winning another game this season.
Re: Steven - Injury blow
We have to out-tank the opposition. They will also tank.plugger66 wrote:Old Mate wrote:Im sure his is a legit injury but watch players go in for early surgery. Tank mode activated.

Re: Steven - Injury blow
sit him out the rest of the year, get his foot and whatever else right, huge pre season as he'll be carrying our midfield even more next year with Lenny and likely Joey gone...
His time to really shine is 2015 onwards.

if they tank we will only lose by 5 goals. Who do we play that will take and we can replace on the ladder anyway?

Do not underestimate the ability of other clubs to tank.plugger66 wrote:Old Mate wrote:We have to out-tank the opposition. They will also tank.plugger66 wrote:Old Mate wrote:Im sure his is a legit injury but watch players go in for early surgery. Tank mode activated.

Thats why I said 5 goals. Did you see us to to Carlton by 80 and they were only one game ahead of us.
Re: Steven - Injury blow
We out-tanked them by 80 points. Fair effort.plugger66 wrote:Old Mate wrote:Do not underestimate the ability of other clubs to tank.plugger66 wrote:Old Mate wrote:We have to out-tank the opposition. Okay I've had enough fun now. Carry on.
Re: Steven - Injury blow
God damn.
Is there a list out there with all the injured players we have had this year.
It feels like close to half have missed games at different time due to injury. Crazy

Re: Steven - Injury blow
Unbelievable. Better to get him right though. Might explain his poor disposal lately. As a positive it gives Curren, Murdoch, Saunders etc more of a chance to get in the team. Pressure is going to keep building on Mr Richardson and this doesn't help.

Jeez, we just can't catch a break, can we? Neither can Jack. He's had a shocking year. Hope he'll be able to put it behind him and bounce back with style next year.

Can we forfeit the last 7 rounds ?
We'll be lucky to win any of them , and thanks to our great stadium deal every remaining home game will cost the club money !

Re: Steven - Injury blow
Why are people saying bring on the tanking? I'm sure you are joking but we couldn't win a little league game the way we are playing so I don't think bottom spot is going to anyone but us.
Hopefully Jackie boy can get his kicking boots right and actually hit a target when he returns.
