Well my opinion isnt esteemed. Matter of fact I dont think I have said anymore than you apart from just not thinking like you. CJ brings experience. he doesnt have to bring a lot more than that when you look a few young kids form.

I feel Curren has been overrated since the end of last year when he put together a few games averaging 20 touches. A bit like Kosi circa 05'. And as mentioned, Weller favoured and an upgrade on Curren.

We need midfielders, armo is struggling, he was looking v.good last year. Not so good this year

Know for a fact the coach thinks highly of him because of his one on one contested possession. He was ranked seventh in the league.

Agree- some coaches try to make some players into something they are not. I reckon Curren needs to be on the ball, not tagging. Not every player can be turned into a defensive slogger when they are a natural attacking footballer. It reminds me of how Lyon stuffed McQualter's game up totally, and in the end lost a smart attacking small forward. I hope AR isn't trying to mess around with Jack Steven's natural game, as he is just not attacking the contest like he can and should...too busy watching or trying the block the opposition like most of our midfield, instead of getting first hands on the ball.

Think jack is just lacking power off the mark due to the injury at the start of the year. Dont think he is playing any different apart from that. Didnt RL save mini's career?
