Nice to be the hunter for a change. We will jag a win out of nowhere at some point, and it will be great. We always used to pull out an unlikely victory from time to time in the dark times. Could be this week. Who knows!?

They tried the Lyon gameplan against the Swines, slow it down and strangle,
proving they are disciplined, but they have also shown panic and inability to play for each other when the pressure's on.

If our kids can bring pressure like we did against the Wet Toasters, we might just beat these pretenders.
However, as this season has had no draws so far, we are well overdue for a draw,
I reckon tomorrow will be a draw with scores locked at 81 all.

Would rather lose narrowly than have a draw. A draw is liking having to kiss your sister.

Plus, it could re-enforce mediocrity like it did in 2000 with that draw against WCE. A narrow loss makes the boys more hungry for a win. But I can't see how we can't pluck a narrow win. Richmond supporters would be roaring for Hardwick's head on a platter if we did.

There was a very funny discussion of that on QI once. But it does work with Riewoldt. The other thing that might be of assistance is an understanding of German pronunciation where "ie" or "ei" are concerned. The emphasis is on the second letter. So Reiwoldt would be pronounced "RI Voldt", but I guess there may be exceptions to that too.

I'll say it one last time. The rule is:
I before e, except after c, where the sound is ee.

I don't know why teachers elsewhere across Australia didn't know the rule, but it seems most people have simply forgotten or never been taught properly.
Very few exceptions. Weird isn't an exception as the e and I are pronounced seperately.

Germans pronounce the ie and ei the opposite of us, so die is pronounced dee. Hence applying the rule to a German name isn't useful, unless it's taken on an English pronunciation.
