Re: watching overseas
Where are you going? I'm off on thursday for 3 weeks. I will be struggling with an internet connection I think let alone the AFL live ap. At least I shouldn't miss much this season.

Re: watching overseas
Im o/s at the moment and the afl live app suffices.
It drops out a bit and the footage is a bit choppy, but it is OK and pretty much the best option.
Bascially $5 a week, so $5 to watch the saints play live whilst o/s is good IMO.

Re: watching overseas
You'll be able to watch games overseas, as long as your connection is fast enough. It really depends where you're going.
Next option is listening to the radio via the AFL site - on a slow connection you can let it buffer. If you do this for Sunday games choose to listen to the AFL radio option (as opposed to SEN, 3AW etc.) as Kosi does the special comments, and he's pretty good.

Depends where you are going. Our game against the Weagles was shown on the Australia Network throughout Asia. It's not covering the Tigers game though.
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

You have not mentioned which countries. But should it work anywhere outside of Australia as long as you use the International Site.. As long as you have internet access for your laptop. Good thing about European Hotels and apartments, including through AirBnb, is that wifi in your room is normally free.
I have used it in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and the UK.
Apart from watching it live, you can also watch unlimited replays in the period you sign up for. Handy if you have to be somewhere when the game is live.
As internet speed varies, you can pick 3 different resolutions. So if slow, you just select the lowest resolution...which I had to do in my apartment in Barcelona.
