If anyone questions Billings they have absolutely no idea about football and should be banned from supporting AFL.jonesy wrote:Anyone still questioning billings?

Lets hope AR is coaching for draft selections as the list has gone backwards a long way under his tutilege! No belief, no energy and no far far too defensively minded very poor 1st year in the chair IMO.
SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!

Billings with 25 touches at 100% efficiency and 3 goals...rising star nomination for sure!

Our top 3 in the fantasy points were
Billings (most points of either team)
Weller
Newnes
that's great for the future- usually it's our old guard that get the top positions. Imagine if Weller had kicked his 5 behinds as goals.
I also thought Savage, Delaney, Shenton, Minch, Milera all showed a bit.

Re: Saints v Wet Toast - Match Thread
Not all doom and gloom, better players were the kids, some of the older guys clearly not suited to the quicker game- jones, Gwilt, dempster, Ray - all tend to look sideways, backwards - going for the safe kick, clearly don't trust their disposal which is understandable but not suited to the modern game. we were in it when moving the ball quickly.
the invisible and the non existent look very much alike

What are we doing wrong that means we don't get reward for effort???
What changed at quarter time????
Questions need to be asked - answers need to be given!

Free kicks - Saints 9....Eagles 18!!
Not saying we would have won if we had a few more free kicks, but geez, umpires weren't too kind to us today!!

See if you can do something about the bounce of the ball as well. We must have run over a black cat, while driving under a ladder. Hopefully it leads to pick 1.Sainter_Dad wrote:4 - 12 after quarter timeGriggsy wrote:How do I find the quarter time and half time free kick count.? By the way, those wanting Billings rested or dropped, suck a lemon.

Are the umpires under the same scrutiny re: match fixing as the players? Having even one of the tbree central umpires in your pocket would makeit easy to rig a match.
