What's the correct spelling of your surname?

Definitely wasn't committed to Wright - but mentioned 6 players in line for pick one - also mentioned we want midfield talent and tall forward over the next two years.

Unsure why you would say forward over the next two years especially when top two are expected to be fwds - then said Wright might be a ruck, might be a fwd depending where he ends up.

To me, someone who reads a lot into things, I see the potential for us to downgrade our pick one to a top 6 pick - as he was almost conditioning us to think that the top 6 are all vying for #1.

Also did not discount Shiel and Thomlinson leaving, but almost certainly said Fyfe was untouchable to the eastern state clubs.

Is there some rule or something I'm not seeing as to why you wouldn't ask for a priority pick?

No rule. Would actually prove how quickly and badly we have fallen. I personally would be embarrassed. Just me. Another record we could hold. GF in 2010 - Priority pick within 4 years.

Pelchen on his role in the coaches box:

My role is to purely assist Richo in any way I can and ensure that activities run smoothly in the coaches box. My role also involves mixing with players, coaches and staff.

This is my third season with the Saints. I hope to play a part in the club's resurgence over the coming years.

Well you'd soon be over your embarrassment if it helped us climb the ladder quickly :) Anyway that's where we sit atm and the reason for a priority pick. That's to say we continue on current form. We may still win another 2-3 yet with players returning, I haven't put a line through the rest of our games yet and we may not be eligible.

If we were to finish last I'd hope we'd use every option available for us to rebuild.

Nothing shameful about asking for a priority pick.

The Power got $3 mil a year for 3 years to avoid going under.

Only a few years after their flag. 7 years.
I know we got rid of the Dwarf early, but Primus was sacked with a year to go on his contract.

There is no guarantee we will in fact finish last. It is a log jam at the bottom. Win a game or two, and then you may not get the one of first few picks.

So Pelchen is rightly looking at all scenarios.

So, how'd I do?

I just assessed you-
British racing green- connotations of unreliable, slow, old and foreign.
Siberian tiger- connotations of Richmond football club but like banished to some cold s*** hole. Probably never go anywhere and drink too much vodka but still surprisingly popular for what you offer up.
Wolfhound, otter and wombat are like some kind of animal loving pervert so no job for you. :)

We hold too many records we don't want already. But we would not hold this one:
Collingwood: GF 2002, 2003.
2005 position 15th - National Draft Dale Thomas: Priority Pick!
2006 - position 7th.

Clearly they really needed a priority pick in 2005......

Good point. HTF did the Pies get a priority pick 2 years after being in a GF. Did they get pick 1 & 2?

We should get one next year I reckon.

Should get us 3 x top 20s.
