Ill put my hand up - I loved the Wolfman.

Alex Marcou was very popular after the Coodabeens song.

Must be a lot in this category.

John Peter-Budge gets my nod for this award.

Apparently he was an absolute beast on the track and in the twos, but couldn't really bring it when he played in the seniors.

Good call! Yeah, Freezer was a real favourite at Moorabbin.

Stevie Cummings was another Reserves specialist of that era who was well liked at Linton Street. Good bloke as well.

Not sure if he garnered any sort of cult status though.

I'm with you, Con. Rocket Keogh was definitely not a mediocre footballer. Seemed to be an integral part of the team during the Stan Alves era.

Mark Scott was unstoppable like Tony Lockett in the Reserves but every time he was elevated to the firsts could barely kick a goal.

Max Crow the Essendon reject 65 metres out with a big torpedo never missed but 30 metres out dead in front would go anywhere but between the goal posts.

Terry Smith always looked Impressionable with his long hair running around the mid field but never made it.

In the old days when it was common for people to drape home made banners on the fence, there was one at Moorabbin that read "Paul Temay Can't Play". It was, I think, on the occasion of Temay's senior debut.

From my recollection it was later revealed to be te work of his "mates". :D

Jack was a good goer but you're right about his kicking - ten times worse than CJ.

I think they are related. Both good players with terrible disposal.

Jack gets my nod over CJ as he left us to play with the Swines but then commonsense hit him and he came back home to Moorabbin.

Also liked the ranga hair!
