But we are certainly developing the most interesting one...
I've been harping on about this for weeks. We have 4 ruckman (plus Stanley) who are all expected to be hitting their straps in 2-4 years. Not sure how we will manage it... especially because most in the know think that Longer Hickey and Pierce will all make it, and some (including stkilda thunda who is probably the closest follower of Sandy on the site) reckon Holmes will make it.
I have also been saying this about just Hickey and Longer. They couldnt possibly play in the same side. Longer cant mark it around the ground so he would be no hope in the forward line and unsure Hickey is much better. not sure on the others but they are a fair way off.
Apparently Rhys-Jones on the VFL coverage suggested it was all PR, wonder what he used to say when she was as at Port
Great footy player - but don't think Rhys will be winning any 'modern man' awards anytime soon.
one of the dirtiest sneekiest snipers to play the game....absolute dog......and i met him once...a pretty ordinary bloke at best......no matter what sort of a rap crackers gives him.....pple claim he was tough....bull crap,......only ever hit someone when they weren't looking.......he hit glen middlemiss once whilst he was a saints player.....glen picked him up and drove him head first into the ground......didn't hear a squeak out of the flog for the rest of the afternoon.......
His teammates used to bag him cause in all the punches he threw the only person he ever knocked out was his misses.
Remember the time at junction oval he kicked a Saints player in the head ( might have been Barks?)
Ian Stewart coached South at the time and dragged him off, they claimed he was concussed and couldn't remember doing anything.. Got off from memory
Not tough at all
And the president said " I did not have sex with that woman"
And our former president said " Football is like golf"

Its a later game.
cheers!
no wonder no word on it - unless someone has a time machine.
in which case we await a report.
Lost by 2 goals after leading into 3/4 time
how did white and chips go bratty?
DEVELOPMENT TEAM
Sam Fisher
Chips only played half the game and got through it fine. He did what he needed to do and finished with 14 possessions in two quarters of footy, playing mostly in defence.
Spencer White
Spencer started forward and was misjudging his marks slightly so he moved up into the midfield and did well competing in the ruck.
Exclusive to saints.com.au
...good for white...he needs to harden the f*** up.....pretty quickly too as opportunity knocks....

Cheers thunda,
Surely Curren would be in "the best" with 30 & 10 marks?
Do you think Markworth is any chance of being picked for the saints on current form? Seems to be going solidly without starring.
"The Best" is a chook raffle, no idea how they work it out. Always staggering to see who they name. But yeah TC was one of best.
Markworth, maybe in week or two if he can keep plugging away. Been ok, nothing spectacular but i think he'll be one those players that steps it up a notch on the bigger AFL grounds. The smaller grounds dont suit him.
