Maybe it shows him he has to do more than just run on to the ground!

Lee is a full forward, it would be a novel idea to play him there.....the coaching staff must take resopnsibility for our lack of forward structure.

Tom Lee subbed off ...before 1/2 time!
The man who is supposed to form part of our forward line in the future, Tom Lee, has been subbed off before half time with just two possessions next to his name. That means no ruck back up either, so the coach will rely on Longer to carry the ruck burden. With Stanley and Siposs not showing much, and our complete lack of firepower apart from Riewoldt, things look grim. Tine for the coaches to take some responsibility. PETA Searle has walked straight into a pit of despair. Forward coaches must be in the gun. Another humiliation in the offing. The coach sends members video messages week after week about how the players need to bring effort to the game. Well AR, they've failed to do so for seven weeks in a row. I know we have injuries, but our efforts, especially early in games, has been pathetic beyond description. Why?

How would you like to play as a forward in that side? No run and spread, pathetic delivery, ineffective structures, ball rarely cones in. It's harder that it looks, but yes, Tommy's career teeters on the brink.

Seemingly poor sub to make…
A smallish full forward trying to play ruck against a guy 10 cm taller.
Did he miss a tackle or something?
Waste of a selection otherwise.
We've only had 15 inside 50's… and riewoldt has 2 marks and 5 touches

He's no good. Cut your loses and give someone else a go.

Plugger wouldn't get a touch in our forward line atm. Hope the coach has a good reason. Every media outlet is dumbfounded, as am I.

Looks like Lee's papers are stamped. Hasn't shown much anyhow so no loss. Except the wasted draft pick.

Are they going to use Jones as the second ruck now? Poor decision, especially so early.

Subbed off for jones ? What is the point of that ? Proves nothing when we need to know if lee can play. Why pick him in the first place . The whole team is playing s@#t and they've picked him out ?

really good statement to make.
back it up Richo and tell him and the rest of the team Lee is a permanent VFL fixture from now onwards. Put the team on notice.

If he isnt injured it sends a very big message... one that we can only read from the outside as being that the coaches think lee is the worst on ground and things will get better with him off.

Awesome. Clinton Jones wastes more time and money by playing. Great

Not sure how he wastes money. Anyway what the subbing of Lee should have showed Lee is you need to work some much harder than you do at the moment. His workrate is not AFL stadard as shown by Bruce when he went there. Im very doubtful Lee can make it as a AFL player based on what he has shown so far.
