Someone needs to take charge.
This is an embarrassment for Lenny and Rooey.

Re: Match Thread - cats v saints
This could be very ugly.. I don't see us scoring much at all in the second half.. Forward line is non existent now.. And Geelong in Geelong, they aren't going to slow down..

It's pretty evident we are much worse than what were in 2000. This is 80's material,
We had an up and coming plugger, winmar and harves.

If this goes on all year, priority pick is a real option based on our list demographics

Have we come close to winning playing this style in the last 7 weeks?Bunk_Moreland wrote:So you want to be beaten by 200 points a match?3rd generation saint wrote:That will happen this week the way things are going.Bunk_Moreland wrote:So you want to get beaten by 140 points every week?3rd generation saint wrote:Once again we have a non-existent forward line. Everytime we go forward we are outnumbered 2 to 1, every friggin' time.
I'm sick of this stupid game plan, how about telling our forwards to stay forward so we actually have someone to kick it to when we get the ball.
This us looking like Hawthorn all over again.
I would rather we play man on man and forget about zones and other tactics, keep it friggin' simple.
The way things are going I don't if I'm going to a win before 2016.
Hell, teams are now resting players to play against us with no fear of any consequences, our play is predictable, one dimensional and so easy to defend, not hard to get a kick when you are 2 or more on 1, because that's what happens if we even get the ball past the centre.
By the time we master Port's style of play, it will be out dated.
We need some massive recruiting coups come October to even be competitive next year.
Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

Not a hope this year. We would have to win one or two games next year to maybe get one.

Haha,I just sent a near identical message to a mate who said we were returning to the 80's. I said nah we had a 16 year old Tony Lockett then...tweedaletomanning wrote:The 80's were much better.jonesy wrote:citywest wrote:It won't change because of the following......2013 is 1999, 2014 is 2000, 2015 is 2001, 2016 is 2002. How were we going in the first four week with a backline and young players like Wright, Templeton, and Geary playing this gameplan?3rd generation saint wrote:Have we come close to winning playing this style in the last 7 weeks?Bunk_Moreland wrote:So you want to be beaten by 200 points a match?3rd generation saint wrote:That will happen this week the way things are going.Bunk_Moreland wrote:So you want to get beaten by 140 points every week?3rd generation saint wrote:Once again we have a non-existent forward line. This just too painful. We are getting worse with each week. There are so many holes in the list, it's going to be a very long time before we can even look competitive. Other than Nick we simply have no forward line whatsoever.

No one is U18. You cant be. We lack talent and experience. Surely it doesnt have to be one or the other.

Get of your high horse.. The word fag, gay etc is used quite commonly around the world now and it is hardly used in regards to someone's sexuality..terry smith rules wrote:I don't care how frustrated you are, you want to start questioning someones sexuality with that term, then in any place that is unacceptablefalka wrote:Oh please ! How many coaches do you want to blame?
Don't give a s*** if we lose by 150 today. We need to give the coach his 3 years.

You made the statement, you back it up. Funny how Richo could coach when he had the semblance of a football team in the first month of the season.tweedaletomanning wrote:Please tell us the answer then mr guru.Bunk_Moreland wrote:Yup its all the coaching.tweedaletomanning wrote:So another couple of years to realise this bloke has no idea how to coach?

The St.Kilda disease, the players are crap, so SACK THE COACH.
Really so typical. No wonder this club has won one premiership in 130 years. Its a miracle it has won that many, with this sack the coach culture
