Its great to have a place where the Saints supporters can voice opinions and give candid views on player performance or ability but do we think any of this get looked at by players/officials just to get an idea.Interesting thought.

I know the coaches visit on Thursdays to get feedback on team selections and game day strategies.

one would hope not.........i think the clubs long ago gave good advice to their players to avoid sites such as this one......with good reason too....too much negativity.........and in some cases down right abuse.......i remember it affecting one player markedly...according to his mum.......

Agreed Stinger. Players and officials do trawl this site. I know several players and officials who have been very disappointed by what they have read here.

Why would they care?!

At the end of the day, they have earned the right to an AFL career and have that to be proud of, and what we could only dream of....

I think the criticism of armchair experts would be dismissed very quickly... As it should

I do think Grant came on here, to get amongst the masses and communicate. He also has blogged and twittered.... He loves the banter, and opinions....

No doubt some still would, but if they are thin skinned it would be a terrible move.

I remember Gram coming on here early days and having a bit of a cry…

The greatest players in our history have copped a whack on here, so anyone is fair game… it's a fan site, if you can't handle criticism (warranted or not) - DO NOT ENTER.

It's interesting,

I think the last place you'd want to go is to a fan forum to hear amatuer commentary on your son.... It'd be bad enough just going to the footy.

Most forum fans are tragic fans who are die hard supporters of their club. Many parents nowadays wouldn't have even supported the club their son is at until he went there... Then it would be just because of their kid.

Most of you are probably not aware that I had sort of known Atilla in person before he cracked it on here, and I know for a fact he and his family were Sainters thru and thru before Arryn joined. So he probably visited before Arryn played?

He hasn't surfaced for a big while, possibly at the request of Arryn or he just made a. Smart call. He did like to talk about his boy (fair enough) but wasn't a fan of critical comments. Therefore this is the last place to come.

I made a fairly small critique of him after drafting, if he heard some of the late commentary... He would get quite upset I reckon?
