If Lee continues to do things like that he won't be playing in the seniors for very long. Very poor decision making.

The worst AFL club song? It's a shocker. Why didn't they use their one from the SANFL?

Our tackeling and kicking is about under 12 standard. Kicking understandable. Tackling unacceptable.

Ray's miss against Brisbane is looking worse and worse by the week. It may have been our last chance for a win this year - and depending on who retires at the end of the year - maybe for a sizable portion of next season as well.

Think Stanley has to come back in and play second ruck resting in forward pocket. Lee stays in, but stays forward, told not to go forward of the centre square line.

You make up stuff to suit your argument when it was plain to see the umpires have been terrible all night.plugger66 wrote:Bunk_Moreland wrote:

Please dont lie. Show me the post where i said that. this all started when I said they got the Murdoch wrong. Thats wrong which isnt right. i then pointed out at that stage the goals from frees where in our favour which I wrong and admitted it. Not once have I said the umpiring was good tonight. Not once.
Making up where their goals came from in the first half, then you wouldn't answer a simple question about another umpire mistake.
Sounds like you were just baiting.
Everyone knows we had no hope in winning this game but it could have been a credible six goal loss instead of a 12 goal drubbing.
The poor umpiring and their making up of interpretations as Dunstall pointed out just shows the paucity of umpiring competence at the top level.
Port are a country mile ahead of the Saints, but got an absolute leg up all night by shocking umpiring.
A travesty on the game and as someone pointed out it is the reason they cant be criticised. It shows how really really bad they are. Your constant defence of the indefensible just underlines as many have pointed out that you are baiting.
Why dont you stop baiting and follow forum rules

This is how he plays in the VFL, plus plenty of piss poor efforts yet he gets rewarded with a game.samuraisaint wrote:If Lee continues to do things like that he won't be playing in the seniors for very long. Very poor decision making.

Fair point - we may not have many chances to win in the next 24 months.samuraisaint wrote:Ray's miss against Brisbane is looking worse and worse by the week. How did i make up frees in the first half. I got one wrong and admitted it. I didnt once bait. Its exactly how I feel. Im watching it here with mates saying the same thing. the ones who follow the saints think im an idiot and the ones that dont dont care anyway. JB why dont you report me like some others have threatened tonight. If I get 3 warnings im gone forever and you dont have to put up with me but I can assure you I wasnt baiting.

Not too bad losing by 70 points. Par score for me was a 10 goal loss so a little disappointing but not horrendous.

Here's the thing Plugger, I don't want you banned. However you rely on quotes to have a cheap shot at people that have you on their ignore list. Rather you could do us all a favor and just stick to the topic instead of making it personal. You need to get over the fact that not everyone wants to hear your opinion. Wise cracks can be considered as baiting.plugger66 wrote:Playon wrote:I assure you I'm not angry. and it wasn't a threat
I think it was otherwise you just would report me. Before you do tell me where I have broken rules?
Leave it alone, move on, and nobody cares, i'd rather try and diffuse it before it goes any further, as we've seen in the past.

When did i get personal? Not once. I would suggest someone who has me on ignore but keeps mentioning me is the one baiting but each to their own. Anyway we got beat by about what i expected today.

Get back on topic or send a PM, talk about opinions we don't want to hear...

Re: Match Thread - Saints v Port
Dunnel is the obvious out, Jones just brings no value to the club now, which is a pity because he has played his heart out for the club, but just hasn't got the skills, in fact would be the worst in the league for disposal quality.kosifantutti wrote:Will they let us bring in two and only drop one?3rd generation saint wrote:Think Stanley has to come back in and play second ruck resting in forward pocket. Armitage in for Dunnel,
Simpkin went hard, just didn't get the ball, maybe not quite quick enough to play the hard man in the forward line, plus may be in trouble with MRP with that little arm he threw at the Port player in the last quarter.
I don't think he should get anything, but they will probably see differently.
At least they played the game out this week and managed to kick 4 goals in the last quarter this week and save us from a 100 point belting.
But we have to start finding new avenues to goal, Roo isn't going to be there for to much longer, and if we can find somebody else who we can kick it to, then maybe he can last an extra season.
Right now, Lee and Stanley are our best two other options up forward to kick the ball too, as long as they actually stay forward and give the opposition defence someone to pick up and not just accept our long kicks forward with an easy chest mark because we have 17 players on the defensive side of the centre of the ground playing school boy football.
We also need a small forward to be at these players feet to grab any lose balls that come from spilt marks.
Actually, if Milney gets a favourable decision in his court case, I would recruit him as a specialist small forward coach.
Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.
Re: Match Thread - Saints v Port
Well just reminding you both where you sit with warnings before it goes like in previous times, i'd prefer you both to remain.
I missed by 5 points in the tipping comp. So yeah saw it coming also.
So where do we go from here? We need create some opportunities to win some uncontested ball. ATM were playing from pressure to even more pressure. Is it that were still trying to find out what skills our young blokes have in an AFL environment or is it just our skills are way below par? I'm at a loss atm, individually the players seem better on paper than in a team environment, if that makes sense. Or rather seem to always take the wrong option.
