Of course we should but the question I would ask is why they would want it. Surely they would want a mid first round pick and a very good medium aged player. You cant keep replacing young guys with young guys. All do by doing that is keep building. Eventually you have to start winning games. They have won 5 in 2 and half seasons. Im sure they would want a top 10 pick plus a very good experienced player rather than just replace a 3rd year tall with a first year tall but if they are that silly we would have to do it. Wouldnt even be an issue.

Very unusual player.. Not sure how good he is going to be when it's all said and done.
Won't happen in any case..

Offer him a mill a year for 6 years. Worth more on output than Buddy. He's been outstanding in an ordinary team. Make the most of our cap space. You build teams around guys like Cameron.

No doubt he'll be a champion. I'd almost sign him at any cost. We have oodles of cap space that can be easily front loaded.

Would you be willing to part with either Steven or Armo plus our 1st round pick?

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

It would take sonething like Pick 3 and Steven IMO. Cameron will be the hottest property on the market since Judd.

Maybe get them to include one of their top 20 picks as a sweetener and get another outside mid. .

This is so unlikely to happen....

But if he is out of contract and chooses us, GWS would have to take what we offer them. Maybe Armo and our 2nd pick

Steven is absolutely required as are Billings and Dunstan. Anyone else and you'd have to consider it.

I agree and we wouldn't want to do that. Steven is the lynch pin of our midfield going forward. Bird in the hand. With our early picks over the next few years we will land a quality forward or two. And does Cameron want to come to yet another a team that is bottoming out with small crowds? We aren't a good fit for a trade. If he is determined to go they will try and land an experienced player to boost their performance and marketing.

Finish below Brisbane and make the mother of all PSD selections.

We wouldn't need to finish below them just need to price them out of the market. Therefore we offer him a front ended contact. This would mean we could grab another KPF in the draft.

Wouldn't this fast track our rebuild !!!!

Cameron comes out of contract end of 2015.

At this stage we're looking very likely to finish bottom 3 again so will be in the mix re: exchanging early picks, players, PSD.

Eddie already saying on the radio that Collingwood have plenty of cap space and a 5 year deal would be doable.

I'm sure we'd have more cap space, & could also do a 5 year deal. We would only need to match there deal, cos theoretically the player can't choose, only put a price on his head.

The AFL needs to introduce a mid season trade period.

I dont think Armo and our first pick would get it done. Our second pick and Armo would be laughed at. As I have said previously they will want a very good mid 20's player like Steven and mid first round pick. There is no point giving away Steven to get cameron. I cant see how we get this guy but if he is available we must try. I doubt when its all said and done he will be available.
