Cord blood it's called. It's in its infancy in Australia I believe and a bank of cord blood isn't in operation yet. But definitely something for the future.

I think it is called aplastic anaemia, a blood disorder in which the body's bone marrow doesn't make enough new blood cells. And very serious.
