Re: Injury Update
No - I don't think so. Judd had surgery on an achilles pre season, actually recovered pretty well from it...Just unlucky with the Hammy...unfortunately I think our man Sam Fisher is starting to be the 2-3 week man, actually we've got a couple of them in the last few years...Fisher and Schneider... Unlucky both of them, and both great players who we've missed a lot!

Re: Injury Update
Indeed it is familiar.
Remember in hose dark days when Rob Harvey injured his knee in a game and needed a knee reconstruction? 1999? 2000? cant remember when.
Felt lik the end of the world. HE almost played in another grand final in 2004. How the wheel turns? And so quickly. Not decades. But just a few years.

Despite the setback, which will sideline him for another month, not once did Fisher contemplate retirement.
“I am positive that I will get back and play a really good role for us this year,” he said.
“I actually flew to Canberra to see a hamstring guru up at the AIS and he actually found a little something in my tendon which we hadn’t come across.
“It wasn’t picked up on the MRI so that’s a really positive thing that we found that. Now that it’s the tendon we will treat it a little bit more cautiously now and hopefully I will be back in about four weeks.”

Re: Injury Update
Interesting but they have left out one vital stat - game experience of those still out on the park.
If you have a senior experienced list, then even if you're missing experienced players, you've still got a lot of experience on the ground.
Suspect this would be the case with the Hawks, for example - prob not the case with the Lions and Saints.
Thanks for posting the link

becoming my cliche
against carlton we had 13 players with under 50 games-- they had 6
and take out Rhys 46 games ( now 48 games ) we had 12 under 35 games with Delaney 35 and Newnes 34.
against Gold coast we again had 13 - they had 3... under 50 games
apart from the games experience out there is the Games PLAYED together--- knowing each other and how it may work out...

Re: Injury Update
9 of those 10 (excluding Spencer) were getting regular senior games.
By far the longest injury list in the competition.
No doubt this has been a big factor in our drop away in recent weeks.

And Templeton & Geary are still listed as 3 months, now in June? With 12 weeks left, let's stop mucking around and call it "Season" shall we?

Add to that no mention of Delaney. I bagged the crap out of this patronizing list of rubbish on Saints FB . They treat us like morons.dragit wrote:Gwilt goes from 2 to none… Gilbert goes from 6 up to 8…

i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.
Re: Injury Update
Acres 4 weeks is promising. I'd like to see another month of him at the backend of the season.
Eli, Gears and probably Gilbert done for the season, I reckon.
