I know this is going to sound terrible but we need to have a good loss today. No injuries, play well but lose by under 20 points is what I'm hoping for. With Melbourne winning we are now closing in on pick 2 if GWS start winning (which I'm sure they will). For the sake of our re-build, I want St Kilda to finish 17th this year and pick up the best tall forward in the draft.

We need to make the effort, like the second half last week, like the second half against the Lions, like the whole game against Essendope.
What is unacceptable have been the efforts in the first half in Wellignton, and against Carlton. Against the Hawks the whole game was appalling and totally unacceptable.
Looking for effort and the likes of Stanley, Newness, Bruce, Acres, etc steadily improving.

Call me short sighted but I never want the Saints to lose. Tanking has a very poor track record.

The Giants will end up being better than Gold Coast. I expect both of them to play in 5 Grand Finals each over the next 15 years.
