the delivery to Roo has been pretty good
but each marking attempt he has run underneath the ball and then gone to ground...

Typical of our season a slow start but I actually think we look the more settled and are currently cleaner with the ball

Looking very dangerous though. You can see what he's trying to do.

Just needs to settle in a bit more at this level, and... look out.

Keep taking the game on Blake!

Who is umpire 18? Lets Riewoldt be murdered yet gives Carlton frees for tiny jumper holds then ignores the same when it is do e to Gwilt. But we are down because they are winning clearances and we keep finding ways to give the ball back when we do win it.

For all his noted shortcomings, Flint Jones showed in that first quarter why he gets a game.

When we were in a bit of disarray early on, he steadied the ship through sheer tenacity.

I agree outstanding effort. Gwilt has been good too.

Fair dinkum some of these blokes have been playing for over a decade, you'd think they'd know better than trying to hit up Rewoildt every time without fail.

Siposs unsited,Steven the same.

Shenton looks comfortable at this level - its my first real look at him & he might be a player
Acres has turned all of his possns over so far - he is not playing on instinct & thinking too much - I would not give a match up & stick in the frwd pocket

When they showed his VFL game prior to his first match on the Saibts web site I noticed he missed nearly every target. I commented at the time that I hoped it was just a one off game.
I'm not so sure - his disposal does seem very sloppy to me.

Stanley needs to create something or take a few marks.

Stats so far = 1 kick 1 hitout 1 free against. Not good enough.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency
