Re: Feeling confident we will beat Carlscum
I cant see the players/club recovering from last week so quickly they will be still in mourning.
There is no doubt we need to be rid of players who cant hit a target or make a reasonable decision but we cant play with 10 blokes on the field can we?
Carlton are playing much better footy at this stage and I very much doubt we will win this week...

Today was a training run for both sides. A nothing match.
Dunstan will be back for broken Gearbox plus 4 other changes.
Carlton are cheats>. Will be a poor match that we WILL win.
Go Saints!
No! Don't say that! Couple years ago you said we had no chance against them and then we we came out and won!

Confidence will have taken a hammering after the absolute pole-axing we got from Hawthorn. If we don't start well we could be in for more of the same. If we start okay we may - may - be competitve.

I want the the Saints to win and win well, why, because i want to see carlscum implode, i wan't to be amused by their carry on for the whole week, i think it will be the season highlight. Go Saints
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

I want to see four quarters of real effort, irrespective of the score. The team needs to redeem itself.

Important we bounce back.
Also I assess our year mostly on whether we best Carlton or not.
Hate them.

True. And I'll allow you to use an Animal Enclosure term to describe them.BackFromUSA wrote:Important we bounce back.

A win against them is worth 5 wins.

Former blue Kennedy kicks 11 straight today for WCE while Judd plays with cardboard boxes on the sidelines instead of playing against us on Monday night.

Spewing that the game isn't on live on FTA. Last year it was but I guess the bye round has caused it to be a foxtel game.

Re: Feeling confident we will beat Carlscum
Remember we're playing a team who lost to Melbourne a month ago. I'm not saying we're miles ahead or anything, probably far from it, but the bottom 8 games have been really strange this year when one team is slightly off their game. Hopefully it'll be close for a couple quarters as a bare minimum.

Agree. And after those close few quarters we should pump them!God_Nel wrote:Remember we're playing a team who lost to Melbourne a month ago. Re: Feeling confident we will beat Carlscum
We have twelve players who have less than 35 games experience in the AFL and 8 of those have less than half that number of games (i.e. 17 games or less). If Carlton can't beat us tonight, they never will. But, if we kick straight, we might be in it.
