"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

Whatever the crowd will be, it would have been an extra 5000 if it was played on Saturday night. Monday nights are stupid IMHO.

of which 32,186 will be wondering why the hell in a round of just 6 matches this one had to be played in a TOTALLY RIDICULOUS time slot.

Not sure if it would be that much bigger given the poor form of both clubs.citywest wrote:Whatever the crowd will be, it would have been an extra 5000 if it was played on Saturday night. Monday nights are stupid IMHO.

This is a popular view but Monday nights opens up time for some people who frequently can't go.citywest wrote:Whatever the crowd will be, it would have been an extra 5000 if it was played on Saturday night. Monday nights are stupid IMHO.
I love the Monday night. It will be one of the first games I'll be able to attend.
With my own football on Saturday and then the functions afterwards on a Saturday night I hope for as few Saturday games as possible every year.

25,500 - not enough interest in this to pull a big number on a Monday night. Families with young kids, people who have to travel a long way, those who start early on Tuesday's, the cold weather, are all reasons for a lower attendance. Free-to-air TV makes the decision not to attend, even easier.

Thanks for the correction SP - I know it's on TV, but I forgot that it isn't on free-to-air. I trust that I didn't confuse too many of you.
