Future Father-Sons?

Post: # 1458884Post bergholt »

http://www.saints.com.au/news/2014-05-07/sons-of-guns

A bunch of kids training with the club yesterday:

Sam Loewe
Flynn Thompson
Jackson Voss
James Coghlan
Jack Coghlan
Tyson Milne

Also some Pecketts and a Rice.

They look pretty young though, a few years away I think.

I wondered where Harves' kid was, was it not appropriate due to the Collingwood connection? Or is he not on the radar? I thought he was a chance..

Paul Pekin plays for Geelong Falcons this season. Anyone know whether he's Tim's son?

Paul Pekin is a team mate of my nephew at Cobden and is definitely not Tim's son.

A couple of the guys in the video actually looked too old to be drafted? Not sure who they were.

Do we think the Voss bloodline could be the next Kennedy or Ablett dynasty?

I spotted him first. I was sitting behind Brett Voss at the AGM around 2004. Young Voss was attempting to get a snack out of the bag and like his uncle was imparting his will on the contest.

Kosifantutti - but once he had the snack - how was his usage? Turnover? Did some if the other kids get the crumbs?

Sammy Loewe could definitely make it on what I've seen so far - seen him play for his school a couple of times this year and he is a real goer. At this stage, he's short compared to Stewie (although he's still only 15 so he could put on a few cms later on) but he's a real in and under midfielder type and looks the goods.

Connor Harvey seems to be a really good athlete like the old man but at this stage I'm not confident that he'll make it - again he's still only young so too early to call.

Notice Highett junior Jake Bowey won the league best and fairest medal. He's the son of zippy ex-St Kilda rover Brett.
