Not a big deal, but the Joined (date) under Username used to have the Year, could we please have that listed again?
There's totally no need for the Joined day/time, which is in that field now. Better to be Joined: 04 May 14

Can we have an "about us" page that outlines the history of SS, who the owner(s) is, the administration structure, what the constitution is and a statement of independence and maybe a list of people that have contributed funds to the site and or dedicated/volunteered their time to keep the site running.

I reckon a change made last night broke the site so that existing users can't login unless they clear their cookies. As a result there's no-one online right now and there won't be until that change is reverted.

Yep. Can log in to the Fan Forum after numerous attempts. But if I look at the General Forum or Other Teams forum, I'm unable to post because the system says I'm not logged in. Trying to log in for access to those forums is just going around in a circle. No access possible.

Suggest using the global PM function to send PMs to all members to make important announcements and/or to provide information about site changes, rule changes or policing policy etc.

Yeah me too, I tried to log a new name under a different email and it was the "kapcha" style code log in just kept saying that the wrong code had been entered. Others were able to log in so i thought I was banned. I contacted the admin and they got back to me with the sorted issues.

I've been thinking about this and I reckon it would be a more progressive and original idea if there was a TTL (Thank the Lord) or Amen option/button.

The idea would not only be kid friendly but it would also please the religious demographic.

Less stickies for me… we reduced this right back awhile ago and now it has multiplied again. Right now there are 10 stickies, when I log-in I'd like to see the recent discussion threads up the top, not 10 stickies of largely old info.

"Building our Team takes a while" is just another thread, it will stay at the top if people are interested.

City West announcement could just be a thread if at all.

Totally agree. Also the Sandringham thread. There is a new thread on Sandringham every week which is fine, why bother looking in a sticky.
The Membership thread, people can look at the website if they want up to date info.
2014 List management, if it's an interesting thread people will contribute and it will stay on the first page.

I did try to login on laptop, iPhone and iPad and couldn't logon with any device.

This is a serious suggestion and motivated by nothing except my observations.

Maintain the ban on plugger66. The quality of discussion and significant reduction in abuse since he was banned is no coincidence. Furthermore, it was around the time that he originally started posting that the forum began to degenerate significantly in my opinion.

These events may be unrelated, and I do not intend this to be a slight on plugger66. I have no idea who he is personally, but for whatever reason much of the personal abuse and controversy seems to be worse when he is involved.

If this is too unbearable, perhaps subject him to a post limit of 5 per day (if possible). His enormous post count in a short space of time has dominated the forum and I believe has been a big factor in turning away a silent majority of former posters.

Please do not use this thread to discuss his merits as a poster. I am merely making an observation, having read this forum since 2004 and posted in various forms since 2005.
